Although simple, this quote helped me stay on the path to success during my HSC year. It often reminded me that even when faced with the stress of exams, we should never doubt our academic abilities, nor shrink our personal ambitions.
Lucinda recently graduated from St Catherines’ School Sydney with an ATAR of 89.10. She studied English Advanced, Legal Studies, Modern History, Drama and Studies of Religion, and has excelled in the humanities subjects throughout her senior high school years. Lucinda prides herself on being a caring and patient tutor, in addition to a huge people person.
Lucinda achieved band 5 and 6s in all her subjects, ranking within the top 5% of her school’s year 12 cohort in 2020. As an older sister and tutor she has helped both primary and secondary students study for English, History and Legal Studies. Lucinda also understands how to properly balance study with co-curricular activities, through her own experience preparing for the HSC whilst competing in representative swimming.
Lucinda understands how daunting preparing for the HSC can be, and aims to bring comfort, assurance and clarity to each lesson, helping students to remain calm and prepared as they draw closer to and undertake exams. Lucinda is a patient and compassionate tutor who is always at the ready to help students overcome any academic challenge, no matter the size.
In 2021 Lucinda will begin study at the University of Sydney, undertaking a double major (Ba Adv) in International Relations and American Studies. Outside of university, Lucinda volunteers for her local community garden and continues to swim for a club.
